Hi, I'm Katey!
My name is Katey. I’m 24 years old, a self-taught photographer, dancer, fitness lover, and grad student.
I have always enjoyed photography and while in college, I decided to start taking photos of my school's sports teams. Eventually, I began doing portraits, dance photos, and so much more. About 3 years ago, I decided to turn this little hobby of mine into a business. I have loved every second of this and would be so happy to work with you and make your vision come to life :)
MY APPROACH
My main priority is that my clients are comfortable during the session. Even if you've never been in front of the camera, I assure you that working with me is a safe environment and I will guide you through the whole process. I will always cater to your needs and make this moment special. Don't think of me as a photographer but as a friend that is here to capture timeless photos that will stand the test of time.
Fun Facts
do you have any pets?
Yes! I have two dogs, Leila and Keira. They are both adopted and look like twins, although they are not sisters. Leila is adopted from Tennessee and Keira is all the way from Puerto Rico.
What are your favorite TV shows?
I love a good classic like the Office or Friends. I enjoy watching all the Marvel series on Disney + as well.
What are your hobbies?
Well besides photography, you can catch me at the gym, dancing, or crafting with my Cricut.
What is your go to fast food meal?
This is a tricky one! I recently have been loving chicken tacos from Chipotle but I also crave chicken nuggets from Chick-fil-A pretty often.
What does a normal day look like for you?
I am in grad school so I have classes and clinical hours during the week but some days even after that I attend sports games and take some photos.
What are your goals?
After graduating I hope to pass my certification exam and become an athletic trainer. I also want to grow my photography business and work with so many more amazing people. I am currently saving for a new camera lens as well!
What is your favorite season?
Definitely summer! Not only because it is the most perfect weather but summer photoshoots can't be beaten.
Where do you want to travel?
All over Europe, Australia, Hawaii, and the Caribean. So pretty much everywhere :)
